Spring Break: Monday March 18th - Monday April 1st.  The school is closed during that time.  School resumes TUESDAY April 2nd.

The students are welcome to submit weekly reflection(s) on their blog while on spring break.  This is completely optional, but I know some students are looking forward to it!

Can you please email me a picture of something that represents a memory of spring break?  This picture should not reveal your child's face.  Examples of pictures include: a zebra (from your visit to the zoo), a killer whale (from your visit to the aquarium), a park (from a afternoon playing in the park), a pair of muddy boots (after a wet walk through a local trail)...

Parent/Teacher Conversations

There will be an early dissmisal on Tuesday March 12th for parent teacher conversations.  I will be available to meet from 2:00 - 4:00pm.  I will be booking 15 minute appointments so that I have enough time to meet with everyone individually who would like to meet.  Please let me know if you would like to book an appointment.  As always, you are welcome to make an appointment any day before or after school, drop by the classroom before for after school, call the school, email, or post on this website.

Marked spelling assessments and this week's Word Work words will go home today.  Please contact me (email, phone, drop by the classroom) if you would prefer your child writes this week's spelling assessment on Monday (March 11) since I am late sending home this week's words.

Annie Read Through - Tuesday March 12

The rehearsal after school from 3:00 to 4:00 on Tuesday March 12 will be cancelled due to early dismissal and parent/teacher interviews.

The Book Fair is coming back to Moody Elementary!

Our goal is to earn money to buy books for the library!

Every student who visits can enter a draw to win $25 to spend at the book fair and $25 for their classroom teacher!  Fill out the ballot on the back of the flyer and bring it to the book fair with you!

Don’t forget to look for our Classroom Wish List Display to see what books your teacher would like for your classroom!

Friday March 8 – 8:00 to 8:50 and 3:00 to 4:00
Monday March 11 – 8:00 to 8:50 and 3:00 to 4:00
Tuesday March 12 – 8:00 to 8:50 and 2:00 to 6:00 (parent-teacher conversation night)
Wednesday March 13 – 8:00 to 8:50 and 3:00 to 4:00
We will also be open each day at Recess!
