Student led conferences are on February 6th from 2pm - 4:30pm.  Please email me, or write a message in your child's planner, if you are planning on attending.

We have started reading Freckle Juice for Remarkable Readers.  Your child will bring their book home the night before to practice their part.  Tomorrow we are reading pages 16-19.

Thank you to those of you who attended Family Reading night last night.  By the sounds of it, the kids really enjoyed it!

Family Ready Night January 28th from 6:00-7:00pm in the Library

Drop in, grab a book off the shelf and find a comfy spot to read with your family!  There will also be stories read by our Teacher-Librarian Ms. Trumpour at 6:15 and 7:15.

If this night is successful, we will have Family Reading Night every month.

The school is selling anti-bullying pink t-shirts for $10.  I forgot to send the notice home, but I will send it home on Monday.  If you would like to send in $10 on Monday, I will fill out the order form for you.  Here is a description of the t-shirt sale:

Terry Fox Secondary Leadership classes have designed pink shirts, “Love is Louder than Bullying”, with the hope of raising awareness and money to produce a professional 60-minute live play for students centered around bullying issues and solutions. In the spring of 2013 students, parents and teachers of SD43 will be invited to come to Terry Fox to watch and learn through this production. Let’s make a difference that lasts!

A second blog notice and tennis consent form went home today for those students who have not returned it.  Those forms are not overdue.
