Last call for holiday/winter scholastic orders...

This week we made 'biscotti reindeer' to be hung on a Christmas tree at Gallaghers Coffee Bar in Newport Village.

The trees will be on display from Nov 24 to Dec 21.

Tomorrow (Saturday) there will be a pancake breakfast and toy drive from 10am-12pm in Newport Village to kick off the community festivities.

Science and Art pages are updated!

Lots of kids away today!  If you or your child was away today, we:

Practiced throwing and catching in Gym.
Had our spelling pre-test.
Played addition games with as many dice as possible!
Compared two types of soil that we dug from the playground last week.

Remember to get your rest and wash your hands!

Weekly Reflections went home today.  Please respond and return by Wednesday of this week.

New spelling words are posted!

The planners did not go home today.  We had a wild and wacky afternoon exploring with paint.  These paint explorations prevented us from having time to write a message.  The planners will be sent home tomorrow.

New Spelling words are posted on Spelling City and in your child's planner.

I am sorry the Weekly Reflections did not go home last week.  I will send them home today.  If you don't have time to respond, I completely understand, but please send them back by Friday.

Pizza and Hot Dog Day order forms went home today.  Pizza Day is Nov 14, & Hot Dog Day is Nov 28. 

Order forms for both days are due Nov 8.

Our class sold the most Entertainment books!  We won a pizza lunch paid for by the PAC.  We will have this lunch on Thursday November 8.

November home ready calendar is posted under the "notices" tab.  A paper copy will be sent home this week.

Familes, parents and friends are welcome to join us for our Remembrance Day assembly which will feature our choir, a few classroom presentations and a mutli-media presentation.
